For as long as I’ve known myself, I’ve loved food. From my first job cleaning tables at age 14, to head waitress at a restaurant– paying my way through college, to now owning two restaurants in two countries, my passion has always been food. I started The Balance Bowl because I realized that despite the growing awareness of the consequences of a poor diet, Liberian consumers have limited choices of healthy takeaway food that is compatible with the busy lifestyles of many. Our goal is to introduce Liberians to a new way of eating. We deliver fresh and balanced homemade meals to our customers’ desks or door. – Andrea Kamara-Dunbar
